Turn a Two Man Job into One

Drywall sheets can weigh up to 105 pounds making installation a two man (or even three man) job. With a Troy drywall lift, you can install full sheets of drywall in a fraction of the time and you can do it all on your own. The Troy drywall lift is easy to setup, simple to operate, and is built from commercial grade steel. It is rugged enough to be used on a professional job site and easy enough for a do-it-yourself job in your own home.

Features

  • Eliminate risk of injury due to the heavy lifting and placing of drywall sheets
  • Welded steel construction
  • Single stage winch with brake
  • No tools required to assemble
  • Breaks down small enough to fit in the trunk of a car
  • Tilts laterally making it easy to install drywall on sloped ceilings
  • Backstop with Rubberized Feet: Prevents any movement of the drywall lift while drywall is loaded and in position for hanging on a wall. Once your lift is in place, simply flip the backstop down and your lift and sheet of drywall are secure.

    DPH11 Support Hooks
Support hooks secure the drywall on the lift and prevents it from sliding off during placement.

Support Hooks: Secures the drywall on the lift and prevents it from sliding off during placement. Also helps pivot the drywall sheet into place so it is flush against the wall and adds support to prevent the edges of drywall sheets from getting crushed and broken.

Telescoping Arms: Extend and allow you to hoist even monster 16-foot sheets of drywall. Sheets this size can weigh up to 105 pounds and would require a few people to install without a drywall lift.

    5This is an amazing deal
    By D. Wayne
I am a painting contractor, not a professional drywall installer. But I do maybe one or two small drywall jobs a year. Previously, I would have to spend $30/day to rent a lift. The local rental store near my place closed, so I was forced to look at purchasing a drywall lift. I once looked at picking one up a little while back, but they all ran about $700. Once I found this one on Amazon I couldn't help but be skeptical. After reading the reviews and adding on the shipping costs, this turned out to be the lowest price out of them all so I took a chance and ordered it to finish the drywall ceiling in my kitchen.

The lift arrived on time, in a large cardboard box. One or two of the plastic bumpers were broke, but they are unimportant. I put them on and wrapped them with duct tape, and that corrected the problem.

So, the lift: It is built strong. The parts all move well, and everything I've seen so far is no less of quality then the $700 lifts out there. I love this thing. This will pay for itself after one week.

If you are afraid of picking up somehting flimsy, trust me, this is well worth the money.

    5Troy Drywall Panel Hoist
    By J. Sadtler
I have hung my fair share of drywall and over the years have used several different models of hoists, most of them MUCH more expensive than this one and none of them do the job any better. Most recently I spent $[...]/day renting a hoist that was on its last legs and decided to just buy one. After doing the research, I couldn't justify spending 10 times (or more) than I spent on this one. I figured I'd give it a shot and if it turned out to be a piece of crap I'd chalk it up to a lesson learned. The hoist arrived on time and like many of the other reviews I've read, looking like it had been shipped to Iraq and back, given the appearance of the packaging. I don't know if it is the weight or what, but the box was literally falling apart around the hoist. The hoist itself, however, was undamaged. I put it together in about three minutes using a flathead screwdriver one time and got down to business. The hoist works as well as any other hoist, even the high dollar ones. I laugh when I think about people spending $[...] for a lift that isn't any better than this one. Save yourself a ton of money and just get this one...

    5Good product, great price
    By John Lewis
Had seen product in other "catalogs" but at much higher price. Amazon's price was outstanding. Shipping was significant due to weight, but total cost was still in the bargain category. Tool is great and is everything it promised to be. Is very well constructed but will break down into managable pieces that one person can handle. Have used it for 10' ceilings and wall applications and it is a lifesaver. Overall, "a good buy."
