The Stainless Steel 302 and 316 springs are passivated providing superior corrosion resistance. Music Wire Instrument Compression. Material is ASTM A228 Zinc Plated Music Wire with squared ends to within 3 degrees, not ground. Generally used in lighter duty precision applications.
