Numbers Matter
By Bahb
If you make greeting cards or do scrap booking, the 3M 908 ATG tape is the one adhesive you should never be without because it ALWAYS sticks, it's less expensive than any other really good adhesive, it's very fast once you get the hang of it, and a Glue Eraser (SU sells this, as do stationery stores) easily removes your mistakes that happen when you get tape past the edge of your element.
Here's what's important for you to know: The 3M 908 tape, 1/4 inch wide, 36 yards long , goes in the 3M 714 Applicator (gun). There are less expensive tapes than the 3M 908, but I've always returned to the 3M 908 after trying the others , because the 908 bond is tighter and the gun doesn't get as gummed up during the application process.Keep the numbers with you because it's VERY easy to get the wrong 3M tape. Just because it fits in your gun doesn't mean it works the same as the 3M 908 tape.
Some Suppliers charge less for the tape and more for the shipping, and vice-a versa, so it pays to use your search engine to find the best deal. The same is true of the 3M 714 gun. Today I bought a box of 12 rolls of the tape and paid $3.47 a roll. That's a few cents more, per roll, than I paid last January when I bought it from a different vendor, but it's a couple of dollars less, PER ROLL, than that ex-vendor is selling it today. I believe in vendor-loyalty, but only when I don't feel totally ripped-off.
Happy Stamping and Cropping!

Super sticky
By D. McDermand
This is really sticky tape. I use it to put photos in scrapbooks and they are not going to come loose. You do have to be careful with positioning whatever you are adhering to a background because once the tape comes in contact with the items it sticks instantly and can not be repositioned. It definitely does what it is supposed to - stick things together.

Good Stuff
By Maureen Sargent
Bought this for scrapbooking, really sticks well. A little too well as I am used to being able to pull things apart and reposition them. It is very economical, easy to maneuver, and I do love that this stuff is super sticky and layouts won't fall apart.
