PVC sheet is corrosion resistant and heat resistant to 158F. These sheets are used for light structural duty in wet industrial environments, agricultural settings, and in the marine industry. Excellent corrosion resistance makes them an ideal material to use in plants handling various chemicals where metal can be replaced without sacrificing structural integrity. Solvent resistance is limited and not recommended for direct contact. Solvent bondable.

actual size-not new-??

I bought from AMAZON because they sell these materials in small quantities with free shipping. but I'm dissapointed. This is advertised as 12 inch by 12 inch. in reality its a quarter inch short on both sides. The piece had no protective sheet on either side and was scratched rather deeply in some places. I really do not like to send things back and need to finish this project so I will use as is. AMAZON has been great for all other buying experiences- except plastic sheet materials.. This department needs to give accurate dimensions and inspect the surfaces for damage before listing as new. I hope your plastic sheet buying experience is better than mine but unless some changes are made, count on ordering 1/4 inch oversize on both sides and expect scratches and dings in your NEW plastic.

Very easy to work with

Very easy to work with. I used a Dremel as well as a jigsaw with a 32 tpi blade to cut with, and it cut smoothly (the high speed of the Dremel will make this stuff melt if you're not careful, though.

Only one minor nitpick. The sheet was actually 11 and 7/8 X 11 7/8 inches. Not a really big deal.

Other than that, this stuff is great. I even showed it to a relative who does maintenance at a local hotel. He plans on ordering a few sheets for his work.

Fantastic Value!

I was not sure how or what I was going to get for such a low price. But the description is spot on this PVC plastic sheet is PERFECT for what I need it for! Came in a huge box though which made me feel bad though. Seems kind of wasteful, but I'll either find a use for it or Recycle it!
